When a couple lives abroad, their wedding always feels a little different. Every wedding is unique, of course, but in these cases there is something especially meaningful about bringing family and friends together — often one of the few times everyone gets to be in the same place.
We started early on Sunday morning, just a couple of hours after a good breakfast, knowing we had a long day ahead of us.
Natu began getting ready at Puerto Norte Hotel with her mother, surrounded by a great team: Luli de la Vega, Lucas Martínez Navarro and Catalina Olmedo. In the room next door, Juan was getting ready with his friends and brothers, photographed by my friend and colleague Jorge Schwab — thank you, Jorge!
As noon approached, guests slowly began arriving at Salones Puerto Norte, where Vero and Virginia had everything perfectly coordinated and Dark’s beautiful styling was already in place.
There was plenty of excitement and a little nervous anticipation, which quickly gave way as Juan entered, followed by the bridesmaids, the wedding party and finally Natu, surrounded by the smiles and applause of everyone there.
The ceremony had everything: emotion, surprise, joy and plenty of hugs. Nothing forced, just moments unfolding naturally, exactly as they should.
And then came the party — and what a party it was.
With Tommy Muñoz leading the way, there was never any doubt that the dance floor would stay full, even with so many hours still ahead. Everyone celebrated wholeheartedly, and the energy was incredible from beginning to end.
There was something truly special about this wedding, and you could feel it in everyone who was there.
Congratulations, Natu and Juan, and thank you so much for everything!
A special thank you to Jorge Schwab and Adrián Fortuna for all their help throughout the day.
